The expedition to ascend Mt. Aconcagua will be led by Mr.
Thomas Ronning, a free mason from San Juan no. 28 and the Steward´s lodge no. 154,
both regular and warrented masonic lodges of Spain and the province of Valencia.
Mr. Thomas Ronning is 42 years old, he is a Norwegian citizen and born in Lillehammer (Norway). He has been resident in Spain the last 12 years, where he works as a lawyer in his own legal firm, Bifrost Abogados. Mr. Ronning is a former soldier and officer (lt.) of the Norwegian Army.
Amongst other expeditions and adventures, the following would be considered the most important:
- 2013: Mt. Aconcagua (Argentina).
- 2012: Mt. Elbrus (Russia).
- 2012: Mt. Mulhacen (Spain).
- 2012: Mt. Aneto (Spain).
- 2012: Mt. Veleta (Spain).
- 2011: Mt. Blanc (France).
- 2010: Mt. Kilimanjaro (Tanzania).
- 2000: Mt. Roraima (Venezuela).
- 2000: Angel Falls (Venezuela).
- 2000: Canoe expedition Amazonas (Brazil).
- 2000: Inca Trail to Macchu Picchu (Peru).
- 1999: 10 months on a shoestring in South America.
- 1995: Mayon Volcano (Philippines).
- 1995: 12 months on a shoestring in Asia.
- 1993: 6 months overland ride crossing Africa.
